Skies are cloudy and some areas have drizzle and fog, temperatures range from 34 in Clifton down to 31 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 56.

Today will be mainly cloudy again and not as cool as yesterday with highs approaching 50 degrees. A frontal system will likely give us showers late tonight. Temperatures will rise overnight and may be in the upper 50s by daybreak Sunday morning.

A chance of a morning shower on Sunday followed by clearing and becoming quite mild.

Unseasonably warm temperatures are likely Monday through Wednesday with some record highs possible Tuesday and Wednesday.

A strong cold front will give us a chance of showers Wednesday afternoon and becoming likely for Wednesday night into Thursday.

High pressure will then build into our area for Friday giving our area a partly sunny day with seasonably cool temperatures.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of showers in the evening then showers likely after midnight, lows in the mid 40s rising to the 50s by daybreak.

SUNDAY – MAR 8 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a morning shower then becoming partly sunny and milder, highs in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – MAR 9 – Sunny, highs in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – MAR 10 – Sunny, highs in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 11 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the afternoon, highs in the low 70s. Showers likely at night.

THURSDAY – MAR 12 – Mostly cloudy with a good chance of showers, early highs in the low 60s falling to the 40s by late in the afternoon.
