Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from 57 in Clifton down to 42 at Pequest. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 28.

Weak high pressure to our north and a weak front to our south will give us a light northerly wind that will become onshore by late in the day. Skies will be partly sunny with cooler temperatures than yesterday.

The weekend’s weather looks to be chilly with well needed rain. Most of the rain will fall on Saturday with lingering rain possible for Sunday morning. High temperatures will struggle to reach 50 degrees on Saturday and only in the mid 50s for Sunday. Rainfall amount of 1 to 1 1/2 inches likely.

Weak high pressure will give us a dry day on Monday with near seasonable temperatures.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of more showers late Tuesday through Thursday.

TUESDAY – APR 28 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers mainly after 2 p.m., highs in the low 60s.
