Partly sunny and milder today with light winds! Mainly dry the rest of this week with near seasonable temperatures Monday through Wednesday then potentially well above normal temperatures at the end of this week into next weekend!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and it is rather cool with temperatures ranging from 47 in Clifton down to 36 at Sandyston (this will probably the coolest morning till next fall). Winds are calm or light westerly. The air quality is good with an index of 33.

High pressure building into the area from the Midwest will give us a partly sunny day with milder temperatures along with much less wind than yesterday.

A weak cold front will come through dry late tonight then high pressure will build back into our area with a light onshore wind Monday and Tuesday with near seasonble temperatures.

A warming trend is likely by the end of the week into next weekend and our dry conditions should continue.

THURSDAY – JUNE 4 – Sunny, highs in the low 80s.

FRIDAY – JUNE 5 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 80s.

SATURDAY – JUNE 6 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. this morning for northerly winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet. Belmar’s ocean temperature is 59 degrees.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected for Monday and Tuesday; advisories possible Wednesday and Thursday mainly due to higher seas.
