Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from 59 in Clifton down to 45 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 26.

High pressure over our area today will give us plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures but the humidity will stay low with dew points in the comfortable 40s.

A warm front will cross the area on Wednesday possibly accompanied by some showers. Skies will be mostly cloudy to cloudy much of the day. The humidity will quickly rise with dew points reaching near 70 degrees by late in the afternoon.

Thursday and Friday will be very hot and humid. High temperatures will reach the 90s both days and with dew points staying around 70 degrees it will make heat indexes rise to around 100. Also there is a good chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms on Thursday with a lesser chance on Friday. A weak cold front will come through Friday night.

A rather nice weekend is likely. Skies should be mostly sunny both days. Temperatures will still be above normal but the dew points are expected to drop to the 50s.

Unsettled weather next Monday with a chance of showers with near seasonable temperatures.
