Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and it is milder than this time yesterday with temperatures ranging from 70 in Clifton down to 60 at Sandyston. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 31.

High pressure just offshore will give us a southwesterly flow of quite warm and humid air today and we will have some showers likely this afternoon and evening and possibly some strong thunderstorms. Highs will be in the 80s but dew points will rise to the low 70s.

A cold front will approach the area on Friday then move through the area late at night. Another quite warm and humid day is expected with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

High pressure building into our area will give us a nice summer weekend with plenty of sunshine both days along with seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity with dew points in the 60s.

Dry weather is expected Monday through Wednesday with a gradual warming trend as the high pressure moves offshore and we will have a southwest flow. High temperatures by Wednesday will rise into the 90s.
