A low pressure disturbance along a warm front will move through our area this morning giving us rain and possibly some thunderstorms. Rain will be heavy at times with some areas may receive 1-2 inches per hour which will cause flash flooding. A flood watch is in effect. The rain will taper off around noon and we may have some sunshine this afternoon along with warm and humid conditions. A cold front crossing the area this evening will only give us a slight chance of a brief shower.
High pressure will then build into our area from the Great Lakes Monday and Tuesday giving us cooler and much less humid air. It should be breezy on Monday with diminishing winds on Tuesday. The lows Tuesday morning may drop to the low 50s with 40s in the areas to our north and west.
As the high pressure moves offshore we will have somewhat warmer air will be in our area. We should stay dry Wednesday and Thursday then a chance of shower Friday and Saturday as a cold front apporaches our area.
