Rain is falling over the area early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from 57 in Clifton down to 53 at Vernon. Winds are still strong from the north with some gusts to 30-40 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 23.

The nor’easter off the New Jersey coast will head westward closer to the shore while weakening. Bands of rain heavy at times will continue today and tonight. Winds will diminish by this afternoon.
Showers are still expected on Monday and it will be a little breezy.
High pressure will then dominate our weather Tuesday through Saturday with milder temperatures.
