Rain is falling over much of the area today and temperatures are mainly in the mid to upper 50s. Winds are much lighter than the last few days with northerly winds averaging around 10 mph. the air quality is good with an index of 25.

The unusual early nor’easter is off the New Jersey coast and weakening but we will still have some rain mainly this morning, it will be breezy at times. We may see some clearing by late this afternoon.
A high pressure will then build from the west give us mostly sunny weather with milder temperatures.
Quite warm to start October as Thursday and Friday look to be dry with unseasonably warm temperatures with most highs in the 80s.
Cooler over the weekend with a chance of showers on Sunday.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – A small craft advisory is in effect until 2 p.m. this afternoon for northerly winds gusting to 20 knots, seas 3-5 feet.
