Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from 53 in Clifton down to 47 at Walpack. Winds are light out of the northeast. The air quality is moderate with an index of 56.

The remnants of Isaias along with a warm front to our south will give us a rainy, breezy and cool day today. The rain should begin around 8 a.m. and becoming heavy at times this evening before ending before dawn on Monday. Rainfall amounts will average between 1-2 inches.

High pressure then will build into the area on Monday causing clearing and milder temperaures.

Quite mild weather Tuesday and Wednesday as the high pressure moves through our area. A cold front will cross the area sometime on Wednesday.

Cooler on Thursday as a Canadian high pressure builds into the area, we should stay dry.

Another system will likely give us showers on Friday with continued cool temperatures.

TUESDAY – OCT 13 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 14 – Sunny, highs near 80.

THURSDAY – OCT 15 – Sunny and cooler, highs in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – OCT 16 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely, highs in the mid 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 17 – Partly sunny, highs near 60.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Tuesday for northeast winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 7-10 feet.
