Pleasant weather today with seasonably mild temperatures! Chilly with periods of rain tomorrow through Tuesday!


Good morning!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning, temperatures range from the upper 50s in Clifton down to the upper 40s further inland, winds are from the northwest.

The cold front that caused some overnight showers have moved offshore as high pressure over the Great Lakes builds into our area. Sunshine will return but we should see some increasing high clouds late in the day, temperatures will be seasonably mild.

A series of low pressure areas will be moving through our area Sunday through Tuesday giving us periods of rain from Sunday morning through Tuesday afternoon, temperatures with the clouds and onshore winds will keep daytime highs only in the 50s.

Sunshine returns for Wednesday with milder temperatures but still another frontal system will give us a chance of showers on Thursday.

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – MAY 11 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

TONIGHT – Increasing clouds with rain developing after 3 a.m., low around 50.

SUNDAY – MAY 12 – Cloudy with rain, chilly, high only in the low 50s.

MONDAY – MAY 13 – Cloudy with rain likely, cool, high in the low 50s.

TUESDAY – MAY 14 – Cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 50s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 15 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY – MAY 16 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – MAY 17 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northwest wind to 10 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – A gale watch has been posted effective from 8 a.m Sunday morning until midnight Sunday night; small craft advisories expected for Monday; no advisories expected for Tuesday and Wednesday.
