Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 40 degrees in Clifton down to 26 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm and there is some patchy fog over parts of the area. Interesting that yesterday Walpack had the highest and lowest temperature in New Jersey with a low of 21 and a high of 67.

High pressure just off the coast will give us another mostly sunny and mild day today with light winds and highs in the 60s.

Yesterday at this time it looked like tomorrow would be dry but now a pesky low pressure off the coast and a low in the Great Lakes will cause cloudy skies with rain likely in the afternoon and evening, Rainfall amounts will be around a quarter of an inch.

Warm Thursday and Friday but a frontal system will give us a good chance of showers late Thursday night into Friday.

Somewhat cooler on the weekend, Saturday should be dry but another frontal system will give our area a good chance of showers Sunday into Monday followed by cooler weather early next week.
