Cooler marine air will be over the area the next couple of days which will bring plenty of clouds and scattered showers, best chance of rain this afternoon into early Thursday morning!

A warm front will be approaching the area on Thursday but should stay to our south keeping temperatures cool and still with plenty of clouds, highs in the 60s..

On Friday the front should move to our north permitting winds to switch to southwest that in turn will boast temperatures to above 80 degrees. Also we have to watch for the chance of severe thunderstorms in the afternoon..

Saturday still warm with a low chance of showers highs in the 70s..

Sunday and Monday should be cooler with highs mainly in the upper 60s..

Looking ahead temperatures for most of next week look below normal with highs mostly in the 60s..

Marine forecast, good boating through the weekend as winds and seas stay below small craft advisory levels, however be aware of thunderstorms on Friday.

A thunderstorm rolled through the area around 5:30am waking me up early. We should have more showers till later this morning followed by some clearing and temperatures will warm into the 70s, there still may be a widely scattered shower this afternoon..

Wednesday should be partly sunny and with an onshore flow temperatures will top off in the upper 60s but much cooler at the coast..

Thursday’s forecast is tricky since a warm front will be approaching the area, if it stays to our south we will continue with an onshore flow and temperatures only reaching the low 60s, however if the front moves to our north temperatures will rise into the 70s. Mostly cloudy skies will prevail with a risk of a shower..

Friday the warm front will be to our north and temperatures will rise to the low 80s, as a cold front approaches showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and evening..

Saturday temperatures will still be in the mild 70s with partly sunny skies.

Sunday will be cooler and mostly cloudy with a high in the 60s..

Temperatures this morning ranged from the upper 20s to the upper 30s which will probably be the last cool morning of the upcoming week.. Today temperatures will reach the mid 60s during the day with plenty of sunshine..

Increasing clouds tonight with rain developing around midnight, low will be about 15 degrees higher than this morning bottoming out around 50 degrees..

Tuesday showers tapering off to drizzle that will persist into the evening, highs again in the mid 60s.

Wednesday still a chance of showers especially towards evening, highs near 70 degrees..

Bit milder on Thursday with highs in the low 70s again with a chance of showers.

Friday should be the warmest day of the week with highs in the low 80s but again showers possible with even a thunderstorm.

At this point the weekend looks good, dry and mild with highs in the mid 70s on Saturday and the low 70s on Sunday..

Winds and seas will be light most of the week for the ocean waters, just have to watch for possible thunderstorms on Friday..

Marine, today winds will come close to small craft advisory levels but most of next week no advisories will be needed as we will have lighter winds and seas..

This morning temperatures ranged from the upper 20s well inland to the mid 30s in Clifton with near record lows reported in some areas for the date.. As the day goes on it will get a bit milder than yesterday with much less wind, clouds will increase as the day goes on.

Tonight there is a 40% of rain mainly after 10PM, well inland the rain may be mixed with a little snow…

Sunday we will have clearing a bit breezy with highs in the low to mid 60s..

Monday will be sunny and milder after a frosty morning with temperatures during the day reaching the mid 60s..

Tuesday a chance or rain or showers with highs in the mid 60s

Warming trend Wednesday through the rest of the week with highs in the 70s. Most of this period will be dry.

Marine forecast has winds below small craft advisory levels today but advisories may be needed for Sunday.. Most of next week look good for boaters with light winds and seas.
