Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning, some showers are occurring mostly offshore, temperatures are seasonably mild with readings ranging from the mid 40s in the Clifton area down to the low 30s further inland.

A cold front along with low pressure moving off the coast will cause cloudy skies this morning with showers mainly falling from 7 to 9 a.m., the rain will be followed by clearing skies, temperatures will be a little above normal.

Mostly fair and cool weather for Thanksgiving with light winds.

Friday will be dry with highs a couple of degrees higher than on Thanksgiving.

Mainly dry weather for the weekend, temperatures will be mild on Saturday but becoming cool on Sunday.

Dry weather will persist into early next week, Monday will be cool but milder air will be with us on Tuesday.

TUESDAY  NOVEMBER 21, 2017  5;48 A.M.

Our area has mostly clear skies early on this Tuesday morning and with light winds there is a large spread in temperatures with readings ranging from around 40 in the Clifton area down to the mid 20s further inland.

High pressure moving off the Carolina coast will cause a southwest flow of mild air today, high temperatures will be around 60 degrees, winds will be a little brisk.

A cold front along with a disturbance off shore will likely give us some light showers in the morning mainly before daybreak.  We should have clearing by Wednesday afternoon.

Much cooler on Thanksgiving Day but it will remain dry, early monring lows will drop into the 20s and daytime highs will be in the chilly 40s.

A little milder on Friday with dry conditions continuing.

At this point the upcoming weekend looks mainly dry, Saturday will be seasonably mild but colder air should move in behind a cold front for Sunday and Monday.

We have mainly partly cloudy skies early on this Monday morning and parts of the area have some snow flurries, temperatures are cool ranging from the mid 30s in the Clifton area down to 30 further inland, winds are mainly light.

High pressure will give us a mostly sunny day today but it will be cool with highs about 5 degrees below normal, winds will be a little brisk but much lighter than on Sunday.

The high pressure will move off the coast on Tuesday with a gusty southwest flow of milder air developing.

A weak cold front may cause some light showers Wednesday morning followed by cooler weather for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Another weak cold front may cause more showers on Saturday night.

SUNDAY  NOVEMBER 19, 2017  5:55 A.M.

Skies are cloudy and there are some scattered showers in the area, temperatures have rising to quite mild levels with readings ranging from the upper 50s in the Clifton area down to the low 50s further inland, winds are gusty out of the southwest.

A strong low pressure is now located over western New York with a cold front extending down from the low into central Pennsylvania, a strong southwest flow of mild air.  The front should swing through the area near daybreak with showers ending.  The front will be followed by a very strong northwest wind, temperatures in the 50s this morning will drop to the 40s by sunset.  Winds will diminish tonight.

Monday will be a cool day with sunshine, it will still be breezy but not as windy as today.

Milder on Tuesday with mostly sunny skies.

A weak cold front may touch off a shower Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Cool and dry weather is expected for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

SATURDAY  NOVEMBER 18, 2017  5:50 A.M.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are quite cool ranging from the upper 20s in the Clifton area falling to the upper teens further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Clouds will increase quickly this morning and become overcast as high pressure moves off the coast and a low pressure system approaches from the west.  A southerly flow will bring milder temperatures.  Showers should arrive by late this afternoon and continue into Sunday morning.  Temperatures will be steady tonight and even rise a few degrees.

The strong cold front associated with this system will move through the area Sunday morning, winds behind the front will gust to over 40 mph.  Temperatures will start off in the 50s tomorrow morning but drop to the 40s by sunset.

Monday should be a cool and breezy and dry day.

It should be dry most of next week, temperatures will be mild on Tuesday and then cooler for the rest of the week.
