A low pressure system moving into the area will give us rain through this morning ending around the middle of this afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly above normal with most highs in the low 50s. As the storm moves away we will have breezy conditions this evening. Rainfall amounts will average around 3/4 of an inch.

High pressure building in from the west will give us a mostly sunny and seasonably cool day on Friday.

The coldest air of the season is expected for the weekend as a Canadian high pressure builds into our area. Highs will only be near 40 both days with overnight lows in the 20s along with some brisk winds that will make it feel colder.

Cold and mainly dry weather is expected through much of next week as the Canadian high pressure continues to dominate our weather.

Weak high pressure moving into our area will give us a partly sunny day today with some high increasing clouds late in the day. High temperatures will be cooler today but still be slightly above normal.

Low pressure will move into our area on Thanksgiving Day with rain beginning before dawn, possibly starting as a mixture of snow, especially over the higher elevations. Looking at the computer models it appears the rain will end by late in the afternoon. Rainfall amounts will average between 3/4 to 1 inch.

Friday looks to be a dry day with seasonably cool temperatures.

Dry and cold weather is expected for this weekend and should continue through at least the middle of next week. Temperatures will average about 5-10 degrees below normal.

A cold front will be crossing our area today with some showers mainly from 8 to 11 a.m. We should see some clearing by sunset and it will be mild with high temperatures near 60.

Weak high pressure will then build into our area giving us a mostly sunny and cooler day on Wednesday.

Rain is expected to develop before dawn on Thanksgiving possibly beginning as snow across those higher elevations to our north and west. Some models have the precipitation ending in the afternoon. Temperatures will be near normal.

Colder but dry weather is expected Friday through at least the beginning of next week as a Canadian high pressure builds towards our area.

Looking further ahead it appears that the first half of December will mainly have below normal temperatures.

The intense storm that gave us the strong winds yesterday is moving slowly northeast from the Gulf of Maine and is slowly weakening as high pressure builds from the northern plain states. Winds will be a little less today but still gust to around 35 mph at times. Skies will be mostly sunny and temperatures will be a couple of degrees above normal.

As the high pressure builds closer to us we will have much less wind on Monday along with mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures.

A cold front will cross the area on Tuesday with showers expected, temperatures will continue to be mild.

High pressure building into our area will give us a dry and cooler day on Wednesday.

A coastal storm is likely to give us mostly rain on Thanksgiving, mainly in the afternoon and evening. As of this time, the only snow will be across the higher elevations to our north and west. However this system is still a few days away so this forecast may change.

Dry and chilly weather is expected for Friday through next weekend.
