Today we will start off mostly sunny but we should see an increase in clouds this afternoon as a weak area of low pressure approaches our area. Some showers are likely mainly between 8 p.m. tonight through 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

Very nice weather for Easter Sunday with mostly sunny skies with highs near 60 degrees.

Rather cool and damp weather much of next week as a series of low pressure systems will move along a stationary front to our south. Most high temperatures will only be in the 40s.

The chances of rain should end by Thursday afternoon and Friday looks to be a little milder but breezy.

Dry weather is becoming more likely with milder temperatures next weekend that should extend into next Monday for the solar eclipse.

The storm that gave us the rain yesterday is moving well east of Cape Cod and will move to the Canadian Maritime region today as high pressure builds from the west. We should have mostly sunny skies after early morning cloudiness and it will be breezy with some gusts to 25 mph. Temperatures will be seasonably mild.

Mainly dry weather for the weekend except for a chance of light rain Saturday night as a weak disturbance moves through the area. Easter Sunday may be the best weather day with light winds, plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures with highs near 60.

Unsettled weather returns for Monday through Wednesday with periods of rain likely. High temperatures will be a little below normal and overnight lows will be a little above normal.

We should clear out on Thursday but it will be breezy.

Looking further ahead the computer models are indicating a warming trend starting Friday and last through early the following week. At this time the weather looks good for the solar eclipse on the 8th with mostly fair skies and mild temperatures.

A low pressure system will give us periods of rain today into this evening, an additional 1/2 inch of rain can be expected, with more rain to our east and less to our west.

As the low pressure moves offshore high pressure will then build into the area. Skies will become mostly sunny with near seasonable temperatures, however it will be rather breezy with some gusts to 30 mph.

Nice weather for the weekend with plenty of sunshine both day with slightly above normal temperatures.

Unsettled weather through the middle of next week with chance of rain through this period, Tuesday has the highest likelihood of rain. Temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

The high pressure that gave us rather nice weather the last 2 days is weakening as a low pressure system approaches our area from the west. Today will be a cloudy day with a chance of drizzle or light rain. Highs will be near seasonable levels. The winds will be very light to calm throughout the day.

The low pressure system will give us rain on Thursday, rainfall amounts should average between 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.

High pressure will then build into the area from the northwest on Friday and will be a breezy day with near seasonable temperatures.

The weekend looks to be dry except for a weak disturbance that may cause some showers before dawn on Easter Sunday. Temperatures will be mild with highs both days near 60 degrees.

After a mainly dry Monday another frontal system may give us some showers on Monday night into Tuesday.
