The heavy rain yesterday that was anticipated missed our area again so instead of 1-2 inches of rainfall we only received about 1/4 of an inch which only put a small dent to our recent dry conditions.

Today will be a mostly sunny and warm day and a little less humid with dew points dropping from the 70s yesterday to the low – mid 60s today.

Saturday will be partly sunny with mild temperatures, a weak disturbance will give us a chance of showers at night. High pressure will then build into our area for Sunday but skies will remain mostly cloudy.

Mainly dry weather next week. Temperatures will be slightly above normal Monday and Tuesday with cooler weather expected for the first couple of days of October.

A southerly flow of very humid air will be with us today along with mainly cloudy skies. Showers and thunderstorms are expected through tonight with some heavy rain possible. Rainfall amounts will average around 1 inch with higher amounts possible.

A cold front will come through early Friday morning and we should have clearing skies after early morning cloudiness. Temperatures will be above normal and it will still be a little humid.

During the day on Saturday skies will be mostly cloudy and another front may cause some showers Saturday night into Sunday morning.

A front is just north of our area and today we will have mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures slightly lower than yesterday but the humidity will remain high with dew points in the upper 60s. The cold front will move into our area on Wednesday and there will be a low chance of showers during the day becoming more likely at night.
