The storm that gave us the heavy rain overnight is moving off the New England coast. Skies will become mostly sunny today. High temperatures will be near 50 around noon but drop to the 40s by sunset. A cold front will come through dry in the afternoon.

Much colder weather for Tuesday and Wednesday and it will be breezy, especially on Tuesday as the combination of the low pressure off the Nova Scotia coast and high pressure builds from the west. High temperatures both days will only reach the upper 30s.

After a chilly start Thursday morning temperatures will moderate to near normal in the afternoon.

We should see some increasing clouds on Friday with a chance of rain developing in the afternoon and continuing into the evening.

Saturday should be dry but another disturbance may give us a chance of rain on Sunday. Temperatures will average slightly above normal.

High pressure is moving off the coast and a southeasterly flow of milder air will develop by this afternoon. A low pressure system will cause rain mainly from 5 p.m. this afternoon through 4 a.m. Monday morning. Rainfall amounts will average between 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.

A cold front will cross the area on Monday, it will still be seasonably mild during the day but a brisk westerly flow will follow the front.

Quite chilly and breezy Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure builds from the west.

Milder Thursday through the beginning of next weekend but another low pressure system may give us some rain Friday night.
