Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures are cool with early readings ranging from 50 in Clifton down to 40 at Vernon, winds are gusty out of the northwest.

High pressure building from the west will give us a sunny and very cool day for the first full day of autumn, highs only in the low 60s and with winds gusting to 30 mph will make it feel even cooler.

The high pressure will be near our area on Saturday then offshore on Sunday as a weak warm front moves offshore. Milder temperatures over the weekend. Saturday will be dry with less wind but the weak front may cause some showers Sunday afternoon and evening.

Next week looks to be mainly dry with temperatures slightly above normal Monday and Tuesday and then slightly below average for Wednesday and Thursday.

A strong cold front will cross the area by this afternoon accompanied by some showers and thunderstorms, it will become breezy with winds becoming northwest this afternoon. Clearing and becoming much cooler and less humid air just in time for the beginning of autumn.

Friday will be windy and very cool with highs only in the low 60s with wind chills in the 50s.

After a very cool Saturday morning temperatures will moderate for the rest of the weekend along with less wind and dry conditions.

High pressure building into the area will give us a sunny day today with temperatures about 5 degrees cooler than yesterday with slightly less humidity.

Warm on Wednesday and a little more humid as high pressure moves off the coast.

A slowly moving cold front will give us a chance of showers Wednesday night with showers likely on Thursday with cooler temperatures.

Canadian high pressure will build into the area on Friday with dry conditions and very cool temperatures.

High pressure will dominate over the weekend with slowly moderating temperatures. However it will be the cool early Saturday morning with lows in the 40s with some 30s further inland.
