A weak cold front is crossing our area this morning accompanied by some light showers this morning. Temperatures will hold steady in the low 50s till this afternoon and fall to the 40s by sunset. A stronger cold front will come through dry tonight ushering in the coldest air of the season.

Tuesday will feel more like December with highs struggling to reach the low 40s during the day and with winds gusting to 40 mph will bring wind chill values down to around 20 degrees. Also there is a slight chance of a few flurries mainly to our north and west.

High pressure will then dominate our weather Wednesday through Friday and although it will not be as cold the winds will still be gusty.

At this point the weekend looks to be dry and cool with lighter winds.

A frontal system will be affecting our area today giving us mainly light rain this afternoon and tonight. Temperatures will be slightly above normal with highs in the low 60s. Rainfall amounts now are expected to be only around 1/4 inch.

There is still a chance of showers Monday morning followed by cooler air. A second cold front will cross the area Monday evening.

Tuesday will feel like mid-December with early morning lows below freezing and highs struggling to reach the mid 40s despite plenty of sunshine. The winds will be gusting to above 30 mph during the day bringing wind chills down to the 20s.

A cold front came through our area last night followed by a strong west-northwest wind. Today winds will continue to gust to over 35 mph at times but diminish by late this afternoon. Skies will be sunny and it will be much cooler than yesterday.

Friday will be milder after a frosty morning. Southerly winds will pick up and be gusty in the afternoon and at night. A frontal system will likely give us showers late at night.

The weekend will be mild but another frontal system will likely give us rain on Sunday.

The coldest air of the season is expected for Monday and Tuesday with highs only in the 40s. Early Tuesday morning temperatures should fall below freezing over our entire area.
