High pressure to our south will give us a mainly southwesterly flow of unseasonable warm air this weekend along with sunny skies both days.

Temperatures averaged 69.9 degrees and was around 2 degrees above normal. The highest temperature recorded was 88 degrees set on the 28th. The lowest temperature was 52 degrees set on the 8th and the 22nd. Precipitation totaled only 1.87″ and was less than 50% of our normal amount.

High clouds from distant Tropical Storm Imelda will be over us again today but no rain is expected. Temperatures will be warm again with highs near 80. A cold front will come through dry late tonight.

Wednesday will be much cooler as a strong Canadian high pressure area moves south into our area. Expected more sunshine as the tropical systems move well off the coast but the pressure gradient between the high and the tropical systems offshore will give us gusty winds. High temperatures will only be in the upper 60s to near 70 with low humiidity.

The high pressure will give us a cool day on Thursday along with plenty of sunshine. We likely will have the coolest temperatures of the fall season with lows in the 40s.

The high pressure will be over us on Friday then move to our south over the weekend. Temperatures will be near seasonable levels on Friday but will be above normal for the weekend.

Warm and dry weather is expected through at least early next week.
