We have cloudy skies across the area early on this Tuesday morning and there are some scattered light showers falling in parts of the area, temperatures are warmer than the last few mornings with temperatures ranging from the low 70s in Clifton down to the mid 60s further inland. It is also more humid with dew points in the upper 60s.

Today will be a cloudy and humid day with showers and thunderstorms developing, however the risk of very heavy rain and severe weather has diminished for our area with most of this activity will be to our south. Still there will be some heavy downpours later this morning through this evening. Temperatures will be lower today due to more cloud cover, however it will still be humid with dew points rising to the low 70s.

Wednesday will be a partly sunny day with seasonably warm temperatures and somewhat lower humidity.

There will be a low chance of a shower or thunderstorm on Thursday as the front to our south comes a little further northward.

High pressure will be moving off the coast today and a southwest flow of warmer air will move into our area. We will have mostly sunny skies again and the humidity will still be on the low side with dew points in the upper 50s.

A stormy day is likely on Tuesday as a low pressure moves along a stationary front in our area. Heavy rain is likely especially in the afternoon and evening along with the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts of 2 or more inches are also possible.

The front will move just to our south and so we will still have a chance of showers Wednesday and Thursday.

Fair weather is expected Friday through the weekend with warm temperatures and low to moderate humidity.

NOTE: Last year on this date we had over 3 inches of rain, while Little Falls and Cedar Grove received more than 5 inches causing massive flooding with cars floating down the Peckman River.

High pressure over our area will give us another nice day today with plenty of sunshine, comfortably warm temperatures and low humidity.

The high pressure will slowly move off the coast on Monday with a southwest flow of slightly warmer and more humid air along with mostly sunny skies.

A front will move into the area on Tuesday with a low pressure moving along the front will cause showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain possible, the showers will persist at night before ending early Wednesday morning.

Dry and comfortable weather is expected Wednesday through at least the beginning of next weekend!

High pressure will dominate our weather this weekend providing our area with mostly sunny skies both today and tomorrow along with comfortably warm temperatures and low humidity. There is just a slight chance of sprinkles from a passing cloud this afternoon, but most areas will be dry.

Monday will be a little warmer and slightly more humid, but we will have plenty of sunshine.

A frontal system will likely give us some showers and thunderstorms Tuesday into Wednesday; it will be warm and humid.
