Low pressure moving off the New England coast in combination with high pressure north of the Great Lakes will give us a brisk northwest flow of colder and drier air today. Temperatures will fall from the upper 30s early this morning to near 30 by sunset. Winds gusting at times above 25 mph will make it feel colder.

The high pressure will be over us Sunday morning and with light winds the early morning temperatures will fall well down into the teens. The daytime highs will be in the 30s with continued light winds. A weak warm front will give us a chance of light snow at night.

Monday will be partly sunny and mild but a cold front will come through in the afternoon.

Tuesday will still be dry with temperatures a little lower than Monday.

A frontal system will give us a good chance of light snow on Wednesday mixing with sleet and freezing rain at night and change to all rain on Thursday along with milder temperatures.

High pressure will then build into our area for Friday giving us a mostly sunny day with seasonably mild temperatures.

A low pressure system will be moving into our area today with periods of rain through this evening, some of the precipitation will start off as freezing rain inland. Temperatures will become milder with highs in the 40s. Rainfall amounts will be between 1/4 to 1/2 inch. So far this month only .48″ of precipitation fell, with the record driest being .75″ set in 1981. It will be close if we set a new record.

High pressure will then briefly nose down from eastern Canada on Saturday giving us a mostly sunny and breezy day with near seasonable temperatures.

We should see an increase in clouds on Sunday as a warm front approaches, the front may be accompanied by some light rain or snow at night.

Mainly dry Monday and Tuesday, Monday will be mild with cooler air for Tuesday.

A stronger low pressure system will give us rain or snow on Wednesday changing to all rain on Thursday with milder temperatures.

High pressure will give us a sunny day on Saturday with near seasonable tempertures.

The cold front associated with the low in Canada will move through our area this evening possibly preceded by a few afternoon showers.

High pressure will briefly move through our area on Thursday with colder temperatures but with much less wind. Skies will be sunny.

A low pressure system will likely give us rain from Friday morning through Friday night, the precipitation may start off as freezing rain well inland. Rainfall amounts will average between 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

The weekend looks to have seasonably cool temperatures, Saturday will be dry but there is a low chance of rain or snow Sunday evening.

A strong low pressure moving across eastern Canada will cause a cold front to cross the area today. Temperatures will be nearly steady in the mid-upper 30s which will fall to the low 30s by late this afternoon. Winds will gust to near 40 mph during the day, diminishing tonight.

A warm front will move to our north Wednesday morning followed by a cold front later in the day. Temperatures will be mild and there is a chance of mainly rain showers during the day. Winds will again be quite gusty with gusts to 45 mph.

Brief high pressure will give us a dry and colder day on Thursday with much less wind.

A frontal system will likely give us rain on Friday possibly beginning as a mixture of snow and sleet. High temperatures will be in the 40s. This precipitation will probably prevent our area from having the driest January on record.
