The storm that gave our area strong winds yesterday is moving away as high pressure builds from the west. Today will not be as frigid as the last few days with high temperatures possibly reaching the balmy 30 degrees. Winds will be less than yesterday but still gust to 20 mph at times.
Tuesday will be another mostly sunny day with light winds and high temperatures may rise to above freezing for the first time in several days. A weak disturbance will give us a slight (20%) chance of light snow or flurries.
We should stay dry with seasonably cold temperature Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure dominates our weather.
An Alberta clipper will give us a chance of light snow on Friday.
We return to frigid temperatures for the weekend along with strong winds as Arctic high pressure builds into the area.
