High pressure will be moving off the coast and we should have mostly cloudy skies but it will be mild with highs in the 70s. A weakening cold front will push through our area tonight with a chance of a light shower.

Much better weather for this weekend than last, as each day will be sunny as high pressure builds into our area, high temperatures both days will be in the 70s.

A stronger cold front will likely give us showers early Monday morning followed by clearing.

The coolest air of the season is expected Tuesday through at least Thursday as a Canadian high pressure builds into our area. Highs each day will be in the 60s with overnight lows in the 40s with some 30s further inland.

The average temperature for this past month was 67.4 degrees which was slightly above normal. The highest temperature was 85 recorded on the 14th, the lowest temperature was 51 recorded on the 8th. Precipitation totaled 1.18″ which was well below normal and was the 3rd driest September since 1973. .90″ of that fell this past weekend.
