Enjoy the cool weather today the heat is coming!


More clouds than were expected finally broke by yesterday afternoon, cloudy skies have returned overnight and should break later this morning, continued cooler than normal temperatures that may be a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday reaching the low 70s with a light onshore wind.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy and not as cool as the last couple of mornings with lows in the low 60s.

Tuesday the warmer air will start moving in from the west, still lots of clouds around with highs reaching the low 80s.

Wednesday and Thursday are going to be the hottest days of the week with highs in the mid 90s and it will also be quite humid.

Friday a cold front will be crossing the area with thunderstorms, depending on when the front comes through temperatures can still reach around 90 degrees.

The weekend at this point looks cooler with showers possible Sunday, highs mostly in the low 80s..

Marine forecast: East wind today 5-10 knots, seas 3 feet.. Outlook for the rest of this week has sub advisory levels to continue…

Pleasant Father’s Day!


After having a picture perfect weather on Saturday today will also be pleasant, little cool for swimming as highs will be only a bit above 70 degrees.  Skies will become mostly sunny after early cloudiness.

Tonight becoming cloudy again late at night with lows in the upper 50s..

Monday, early clouds then becoming mostly sunny, highs in the mid to upper 70s..

Tuesday the start of warmer and more humid conditions and despite being mostly cloudy highs will reach the mid 80s.

Wednesday and Thursday will be the peak of the heat wave with mostly sunny skies, humid with highs reaching the mid and upper 90s.

Cold front moves through on Friday with chance of showers and thunderstorms, highs in the upper 80s.

Next weekend at this point looks dry with plenty of sunshine and highs near 80.

Marine forecast: East to northeast wind around 10 knots today with waves around 4 feet..  Light winds and seas through at least Thursday…

The picture perfect weather will continue through Monday but then summer heat arrives starting Tuesday.

Today will be similar to yesterday with plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 70s.

Tonight becoming cloudy with lows in the upper 50s.

Sunday after early morning clouds becoming sunny, a bit cooler especially at the beaches, highs just above 70 degrees.

Monday still comfortable and sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

Tuesday, partly sunny, warmer and more humid, highs climbing to the mid 80s.

Wednesday and Thursday will be the hottest days of the week, humid with mostly sunny skies, highs in the sultry low-mid 90s.

Friday a cold front will approach, still quite warm and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 90..

Marine Forecast:  Northeast wind around 10 knots, seas 3 feet..  Quiet on the waters through Thursday.

Very pleasant weekend coming up, quite hot by the middle of next week!


A high pressure ridge will give us rather pleasant next few days with comfortable temperatures and humidity.   By Wednesday the latest indications are that it could get quite hot with highs in the 90s with higher humidity.

Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 80 degrees.

Tonight partly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s.

Saturday again mostly sunny with a high near 80.

Sunday a little cooler especially along the coast, highs only around 70 at the shore to the mid-upper 70s away from the ocean..

Getting warmer Tuesday, sunny with temperatures climbing into the low-mid 80s

Wednesday and Thursday, quite hot and more humid, highs in the mid 90s

Very pleasant late spring weather into next week!


After having at least a trace of rain the last 12 of 13 days we will start a stretch of dry weather through the weekend and into next week.  The weather will be great for the many parties that will be going on this weekend, however for people going to the beach it may be on the cool side as a persistent wind from the northeast will prevail.

Today will be mostly sunny after some early cloudy skies along the coast, highs in the upper 70s.

Tonight mostly clear will a low around 60.

Friday, sunny with a high around 80.

Saturday and Sunday continued sunny with comfortable humidity, highs both days in the upper 70s.

Sunny again on Monday with a high near 80.

Warmer and more humid Tuesday through at least Thursday with only a slight chance of showers each day, highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Marine Forecast:  Small craft advisories into this afternoon, winds northeast 15-20 knots, seas 4-6 feet.    Friday through Monday, below advisory levels, northeast winds around 10 knots with seas around 3 feet.
