Warmer weather into the weekend but still a risk of showers!


Temperatures today will climb into the 80s, partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers!

Tonight partly cloudy with lows around 60.

Saturday partly cloudy and warm with a chance of afternoon and evening showers, highs in the mid 80s.

Sunday mostly sunny but still a risk of an afternoon shower, high in the low 80s.

Monday mostly sunny with a high around 80.

Shower chances again increase from Tuesday night through Thursday, staying warm..

A little more sunshine for your Thursday!


In my backyard we had .02″ of rain yesterday in a brief thundershower, that marks the sixth straight day of having measurable precipitation.

Today we will have a little more sunshine with milder temperatures reaching the upper 70s, there is only a very slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower.

Tonight, a slight chance of a shower mainly before 9PM, otherwise mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s.

Friday warmer weather will move in, partly to mostly sunny but a chance of an afternoon or evening shower, highs in the lower 80s.

Saturday mostly sunny during the day with highs in the 80s but there may be some showers at night.

Sunday looks partly sunny with highs in the low 80s.

Continued warm Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 80s with mostly sunny skies.

A cold front will approach Tuesday night into Wednesday with shower chances increasing.

Marine forecast:  Mainly 1-2 foot seas, light southwest wind increasing a bit in this afternoon with a chance of thundershowers. Friday through Tuesday winds and seas below small craft advisory levels..

Some fog this morning but the sun is breaking through, as the sun warms up the cooler air aloft clouds will increase in coverage this afternoon along with a chance of showers, temperatures will be a little milder reaching the low 70s.

Tonight a chance of evening showers, mostly cloudy with a low in the mid 50s.

Thursday, partly sunny with again a chance of afternoon and evening showers and even a thunderstorm, temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

Friday still a chance of afternoon and evening showers, temperature highs near 80.

Weekend looks warm with increasing humidity with no rain, highs in the 80s.

Summer warmth and humidity continues into early next week..

After a cool and damp Monday today will be a little nicer with some sunshine and only an isolated chance of a shower, temperatures will reach to around 70 degrees.

Tonight will be cool and mostly cloudy, again only a slight chance of a shower with lows in the low 50s.

Wednesday will be partly sunny but with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon, highs in the low to mid 70s.

Thursday, mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms, highs in the upper 70s.

Friday will have more sunshine and temperatures reaching close to 80 degrees.

Weekend looks great with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 80s.

Warm weather will continue into early next week with highs in the 80s to close to 90.

Marine forecast:  Small craft advisory till 6pm tonight then good boating weather through the weekend.

 

 

Cool start to the work week with showers!


Although we may see some sun, most of the day will be mostly cloudy with showers likely.with highs not getting out of the 60s. At 7:30am there is a blob of showers over northwestern NJ and that should move into our area shortly.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a  chance of showers, cool with lows in the low 50s

Tuesday through Thursday the cool weather will continue with shower chances each day, highs will be near 70 degrees..

By Friday the upper low will move to our east with high pressure building behind it, so we can expect mostly sunny conditions with temperatures rising into the upper 70s.

The weekend looks dry and warm with highs into the 80s.

Next week looks more summer like as well with temperatures in the 80s with higher humidity.

Marine forecast – small craft advisories through Tuesday night but conditions improve starting Wednesday.  Also coastal flood advisories issued for tonight into Tuesday as northeast winds and the full moon will increase tides along the shore..

May 2012 was the 16th straight month of above normal temperatures, is it a normal cycle or is it global warming?
