High pressure is moving off the coast as a low pressure to our south moves offshore. We will have an increase in cloudiness today with a chance of afternoon light rain or sprinkles.

High pressure will dominate our weather for Tuesday and Wednesday giving us mostly sunny skies both day with seasonably mild temperatures, however it will be a bit breezy. A cold front will come through dry Wednesday night.

Dry with cooler air Thursday into the day on Friday but a low pressure system will likely give us rain Friday night.

Brief high pressure will keep our area dry on Saturday but another frontal system will give us a chance of rain on Sunday. Temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

This October the average temperature was 57.4 degrees which is slightly above normal. The highest temperature was 88 degrees on the 5th, while the coolest reading was 40 set on the 27th and 28th. Precipitation totaled 4.49″ which was slightly above normal with the highest rainfall was 1.93″ on the 30th.

The storm that gave us the well needed rain is moving off to our north and east and we will have a mostly sunny day but very windy this afternoon and evening for the trick or treaters. Wind gusts to 45 mph are possible and a wind advisory is in effect. Temperatures will be near seasonable with highs mostly in the upper 50s, which is much cooler than the 84 degrees we had last Halloween.

The weekend weather will be dry with near normal temperatures, Saturday will be breezy with less winds on Sunday.

Monday will be dry during the day but a weak cold front may touch off some showers Monday night.

Mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures through the rest of next week but another weak cold front may give us some showers Wednesday night.

A strong low pressure system will move through the area today giving us rain heavy at times especially this afternoon and evening with even a chance of a thunderstorm. Winds will pick up and become quite gusty from the northeast. Rainfall amounts will average between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches with some higher amounts possible. The rain should end around midnight.

The low pressure will move off the New England coast on Halloween and we will have clearing during the day but winds will be strong during the day and evening. High temperatures will be mainly in the 50s to near 60.

The weekend should be dry as high pressure builds into our area. Saturday will still be windy but less winds are expected for Sunday.

Dry weather looks to continue Monday through Wednesday. A weak cold front will come through dry on Tuesday with cooler weather for Wednesday.
