Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and some areas have some snow flurries. Early temperatures range from 32 in Clifton down to 25 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the north-northwest.

Today will be another mainly cloudy day and it will be colder with highs only in the 30s which is actually normal for mid January. Winds will be a little gusty out of the north which will make it feel colder. Low pressure is offshore as high pressure tries to build into our area from the west.

Still breezy on Sunday but we should see more sunshine and slightly milder temperatures as the high pressure builds closer to our area from the west.

Above normal temperatures should continue much of next week. A weak disturbance will cause mostly cloudy skies on Tuesday but with only a slight chance of showers. A stronger system will likely give us rain on Thursday that may start off as a wintery mix mainly well inland from our area.

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are unseasonably mild with early readings ranging from 54 in Clifton down to 50 at High Point. Winds are from the south-southwest averaging 5-10 mph.

The frontal system that gave us the rain yesterday will be moving offshore by this afternoon. Mild this morning with most showers ending by 10 a.m. The cold front associated with this system will move through our area this afternoon followed by slow clearing with temperatures falling to the 40s by sunset. Winds will become northerly tonight and will be gusting at times to 25 mph.

Colder over the weekend but still near normal for the middle of January. Northerly winds will continue to gust to 25 mph.

Next week will again be mild with a low chance of rain Tuesday afternoon as a weak frontal system moves through the are. A stronger low pressure will likely give us rain on Thursday.

A frontal system approaching from the west will cause cloudy skies today, there may be some showers after sunrise but the heavier rain will be later this afternoon through Friday morning. Winds will increase from the southeast possibly gusting to 35 mph. Also there is a chance of a rumble of thunder tonight. Rainfall amounts will be around one inch.

The front will move offshore by Friday morning with partial clearing in the afternoon. Temperatures in the 50s in the morning will fall to the 40s by sunset.

The weekend weather will be dry with near seasonable temperatures.

Mild again next week with a low chance of light rain on Tuesday as a weak system moves through the area.

Weak high pressure will be moving off the coast and we will again have plenty of clouds today with continued cool temperatures but still slightly above normal.

Milder on Thursday but a frontal system will give us rain mainly in the afternoon but there is a low chance of scattered showers in the morning that may be mixed with snow well inland.

Mild on Friday with rain ending around noon, temperatures will slowly fall by late in the day.

This weekend should be dry with cooler temperatures but still slightly above normal for mid January.

Milder early next week with a low chance of showers Tuesday afternoon.
