A warm front has moved to our north this morning causing some showers and thunderstorms, this activity should move offshore and we should have a partly sunny, hot and humid day today. More showers are possible later this afternoon into this evening as a cold front crosses the area.

Friday will be less hot and humid along with partly sunny skies but another cold front may cause some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

The weekend looks quite pleasant and unlike last weekend with blistering heat this weekend will be seasonably warm with highs mostly in the upper 80s, also the humidity will be on the low side with dew points in the low 60s.

At this point most of next week will be hot and rather humid with the only chance of some showers with a weak warm front on Tuesday.

A cold front approaching from the northwest will give us showers and thunderstorms mainly this afternoon and tonight. Some storms may be accompanied by heavy rain and strong gusty winds. High temperatures will be a little lower than this past weekend but the humidity will be higher with dew points in the low 70s.

The front will push offshore Tuesday morning and it will be a much nicer day with seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity.

The weather becomes more unsettled as a low pressure trough will be near the area causing mainly low chance of showers Wednesday through Friday. Temperatures will average above normal with Thursday will be the warmest and most humid day of this period.

One more very hot day today with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures approaching 100 degrees. The humidity will not be too oppressive with dew points falling to the low 60s in the afternoon. Some records highs are likely. There is a slight to low chance of a late day or evening shower but most places with be rain free. A heat advisory continues in effect.

A cold front will cross the area on Monday with showers and thunderstorms likely, some storms may be accompanied by heavy rain and strong gusty winds. High temperatures will not be as hot but it will be more humid with dew points rising to the low 70s.

High pressure will then build into our region on Tuesday giving us plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity.

The rest of the week temperatures will be at or slightly above normal along with a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers Wednesday through Friday.

At this point next weekend looks to be mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures continuing.
