The humidity is also high with dew points near 70. The wind is calm or light south-southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 59.

Today will be a hot and humid day ahead of a cold front that will cross the area this evening. Showers are likely with possibly some strong to severe thunderstorms later this afternoon into this evening.

Friday will not be as warm and much less humid as high pressure builds into the area.

The weekend weather looks to be quite warm with an increase in humidity as the high pressure moves just off the coast.

Very hot and humid weather, but we should stay mainly dry Monday through Wednesday with high temperatures well up into the 90s, and some temperatures in the area may top off to 100 degrees.

Cooler weather likely towards the end of next week.

After a few days of cloudy skies and high temperatures in the 60s, today will be much warmer as a warm front moves to our north. Some showers early this morning then another chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. We should see some partial sunshine and high tempertures will rise into the 80s with continued high humidity.

Thursday will be a hot and humid day but a cold front will likely produce some thunderstorms that may be strong to severe in the afternoon and evening.

High pressure will then build into the area on Friday giving us plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures and much less humidity.

The high pressure will probably give mainly dry conditions for the weekend, and can’t rule out a shower Sunday afternoon, but the chances are only around 20%. Temperatures will be quite warm with an increase in humidity.

Very hot and humid Monday and Tuesday as a strong ridge of high pressure will be over our area, most high temperatures will be in the upper 90s.

Front to our south along with high pressure off the New England coast will continue to give us an onshore flow of cool and moist air today with occasional showers.

The front to our south will move to our north as a warm front Wednesday morning preceded and accompanied by some showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures on Wednesday will rise to the 80s and the humidity will also rise. There still will be a chance of some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday.

Hot and humid on Thursday. A cold front will come through in the evening possibly causing some strong to severe thunderstorms.

High pressure will then build into the area for Friday giving us sunny skies, seasonably warm temperatures and much lower humidity.

Quite warm over the weekend as high pressure continues over the area. High temperatures will be near 90 on Saturday and in the low 90s on Sunday.

Next week still looks to be very hot and mainly dry.

A front to our south and high pressure to our north will give us another cloudy and cool day today and we should stay mainly dry but there is a slight chance of some spirnkles.

A warm front will approach our area on Tuesday with a chance of showers in the afternoon becoming more likely at night. High temperatures will continue to be below normal.

The warm front will move to our north on Wednesday and temperatures will become much warmer but showers will be likely with possibly some thunderstorms.

Thursday will be hot and humid but a cold front will cause some showers and thunderstorms some of which may be strong.

High pressure builds into the area on Friday giving us sunny skies with somewhat lower temperatures and humidity.

Looks now that we will have a rare dry weekend with warmer temperatures as high pressure dominates our weather.

The frontal system that gave us the light rain and drizzle yesterday has moved further south permitting drier air to filter into our area from the north. Today will be cloudy and cool again with only a low chance of a morning shower.

Continued mostly cloudy but we should stay dry Monday through the day on Tuesday as high pressure to our north dominates the weather. Temperatures will remain below normal due to the clouds and an onshore wind.

A warm front should move to our north Tuesday night giving us a chance of showers followed by warmer air on Wednesday. There will be another chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

Hot and humid on Thursday and a cold front should come through at night possibly accompanied by some strong thunderstorms.

Mainly day and warm weather is expected Friday through next weekend as high pressure builds into the area.

Looking further ahead it appears that it will be hot early next week.
