Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from the low 50s in Clifton down to the low 40s further inland, winds are from the southwest 5-10 mph.

High pressure off the coast will give our area a brisk southwest flow of warm air today along with mostly sunny skies, high temperatures will approach the 80 degree mark and with somewhat higher humidity the day will have a summer feel to it.

A weak cold front will cross the area Sunday morning, we should see an increase in clouds as the front moves to our south. It will be cooler but temperatures will be slightly above normal.

The remains of Hurricane Delta will cause rain Sunday night through Tuesday morning, rain will be heavy at times with 1-3 inches of rain expected. High temperatures with the clouds and rain with an onshore will be below normal on Monday. Clearing by Tuesday afternoon with high temperatures well up into the 70s.

Wednesday and Thursday will be nice fall days with seasonably mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine both days as high pressure controls our weather.

A rather strong cold front will cross the area on Friday possibly causing some showers followed by much cooler weather for next weekend.

High pressure over our area will give us another sunny day, winds will be lighter than yesterday and high temperatures should be a few degrees higher.

Very mild and sunny on Saturday with some high temperatures reaching near the 80 degree mark.

A weak cold front will cross the area on Sunday and temperatures will be a little cooler but still be above normal. Some showers are possible at night.

Showers are likely Monday into Tuesday as moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Delta along with a front approaching from the west. Computer models are inconsistent at this time on how much rain we will receive with some showing up to 2 inches of rain while others indicate only 1/2 of inch of rain. High temperatures will be cool on Monday and milder on Tuesday.

Mainly dry and mild weather is expected the rest of next week.

Yesterday we had less wind than expected as much of the strongest winds along with severe weather stayed to our north, especially near the Albany area where gusts were over 65 mph causing power outages in that area.

Today will be cooler but still breezy as high pressure builds over the area, temperatures will be slightly below normal.

Friday will again have mostly sunny skies with seasonably cool temperatures, but with less wind as the high pressure will be over our area.

Milder over the weekend with Saturday being the warmest day with highs well up into the 70s. Not as warm on Sunday as we will have more clouds and possible showers in the afternoon and evening as a frontal systemalong with some remnant moisture from Hurricane Delta moves into the area.

Mild early next week with a good chance of showers continuing, especially on Monday.

Today will be a windy and quite mild day as high pressure moves off the coast and a cold front approaches from the northwest. Temperatures will be well up into the 70s and by this afternoon winds will possibly gust to over 45 mph, a wind advisory is in effect. The front will cross our area tonight with only a slight chance of a shower with most rain remaining to our north.

Cool and dry weather Thursday and Friday. Thursday will be breezy. It now appears Friday morning will not be as chilly as what we expected yesterday with lows only dropping to the mid to upper 40s.

The weekend will be mainly dry, Saturday will be the warmest day with highs again well up into the 70s. Sunday will be not as warm but still above normal.

Unsettled weather for early next week as the remains of now Hurricane Delta moves inland from the Gulf coast. The American model has rain for Monday and Tuesday while the European computer model keeps our area dry.

High pressure over our area will give us a mostly sunny day today, temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs near 70.

Wednesday will be a milder day but as a cold front approaches it will become windy with gusts up to 35 mph. The front is expected to cross the area Wednesday night but no rain is expected with showers mainly staying to our north.

Thursday and Friday will be cool with possibly the coolest air of the season Friday morning as low temperatures will be near 40 with 30s in the inland suburbs.

Mild and dry weather is expected for the weekend with highs both days in the 70s.

The remains of Hurricane Delta that is expected to hit the Louisiana area on Friday may give us some rain early next week but at this time it is only a slight chance but that may change.
