A frontal system moving through our area will give us periods of light rain today mainly between 10 a.m. this morning until 9 p.m. this evening, rainfall amounts will be less than 1/4″

Sunshine will return on Wednesday. It will still be seasonably mild during the day but become colder at night as high pressure builds into the area.

Dry and colder Thursday and Friday but not as frigid as we experience late last week.

As has been the case most of the winter the cold air will not last long, and the weekend into early next week will be milder and mainly dry.

After some early morning cloudiness we should have mostly sunny skies today with mild temperature and light winds as a weak high pressure builds into our area.

A frontal system will cause mainly some light rain on Tuesday which may start off as a mixture of snow or rain in the morning before changing over to plain rain, no accumulation is expected here but across the Poconos and extreme northwest New Jersey may pick up an inch or so of snow. Rainfall amounts should be about a quarter inch or less.

Clearing on Wednesday with seasonably mild temperatures.

Dry and chilly Thursday and Friday but not as frigid as a couple of days ago.

As been the case much of the winter the cold air will not last long and the weekend looks to be dry with mild temperatures.

A southwesterly flow of air will bring milder air into the area today and high temperatures will be about 15 degrees warmer than yesterday despite plenty of clouds.

A weak cold front will come through the area tonight but the colder air will remain to our north so high temperatures will be similar to today’s, skies will be mostly sunny.

A frontal system will likely give us rain on Tuesday along with mild temperatures.

Dry weather is then expected Wednesday through next weekend. Temperatures will be near normal on Wednesday, below normal Thursday and Friday but rise again to above normal values next weekend.

Skies are clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures here in Clifton have fallen to the lowest levels of this warm winter so far with a reading of 11 degrees at 5 a.m. Further inland readings are in the single digits with 1 degree reported at High Point.

Another quite cold day will be with us today but with plenty of sunshine and light winds it will not feel as harsh as yesterday. High pressure will be over our area.

As the high pressure moves offshore a southwesterly flow will develop, temperatures tonight will not be nearly as cold with lows staying in the 20s. With plenty of sunshine tomorrow temperatures will be much milder.

Another dry and mild day on Monday.

The only precipitation next week should be on Tuesday and again this time it will be warm enough to just cause some rain.

After a seasonably mild Wednesday temperatures will be colder Thursday and Friday but has been the case this winter the cold air will be in and out in a hurry with milder air again expected next weekend.

A polar high pressure will build into our area today providing the area with mostly sunny skies, high temperatures will occur this morning falling to the 20s by sunset. Tonight will be clear and very cold with lows possibly falling to their lowest temperatures of this mild season. So far this season the coldest temperature was 13 degrees which occurred on December 19th.

Tomorrow will be cold but with light winds and mostly sunny skies, not as cold tomorrow night.

The cold weather will again be short lived as Sunday temperatures will again rise to above normal levels along with clear skies.

Monday will be a mostly sunny and mild day.

The next chance of precipitation will be Tuesday and as been the case most of this winter it will be too warm for any frozen precipitation and we should only have rain.

Colder again late Wednesday into Thursday but again the cold will not last that long as milder air is expected by next weekend.
