Cloudy and muggy again today with scattered showers! Showers and thunderstorms likely on Thursday! Dry and pleasant Friday through the weekend!

Good morning!

Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning, temperatures range from the mid 60s in Clifton down to around 60 further inland. There is some fog around as the humidity remains quite high.

Yesterday I recorded .84 inches of rain in Clifton.

The pesky front that has caused the rain the last few days will be just to our south. Cloudy skies will prevail with a chance of showers, temperatures will be below normal but it will remain humid. The best chances of rain will be this afternoon into tonight.

The front to our south will move to our north on Thursday producing more showers and thunderstorms, some may be heavy. Temperatures will be higher than today and the humidity will remain high.

A cold front will cross the area early Friday morning with showers ending mainly before 8 a.m. The front will be followed by much less humid air along with sunshine, but it will be breezy.

Pleasant weather for the weekend with plenty of sunshine both days and seasonably warm temperatures.

Warmer early next week but another frontal system approaching the area may touch off some showers both Monday and Tuesday.

Unlike yesterday when we only received a few raindrops, today we will have showers and thunderstorms with some heavy downpours from late this morning into the early evening. The stationary front that was just to our south yesterday has moved over our area and a low pressure disturbance will move along the front to our area. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are likely.

Most of the showers and thunderstorms will end by early this evening, but we should remain humid.

We finally dry out on Friday as high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will be seasonably warm but the humidity will finally be lower.
