Dry and cool today and during the day on Friday! Coastal storm to give area heavy rain with wind from Friday night into Saturday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are cool ranging from around 40 in Clifton to near 30 further inland, there is a light westerly wind.

High pressure building into the area will give us a sunny day today with continued cool temperatures, winds will be lighter than yesterday.

We should see some increasing cloudiness on Friday as the high pressure moves offshore and a coastal low pressure area starts moving up the coast, temperatures will continue to be cool.

The coastal low will cause rain moderate to heavy at times from late Friday night into Saturday morning, winds will gust above 30 mph, rainfall amounts will average near 1 1/2 inches.  The rain should taper off to showers Saturday afternoon with some drizzle at night.

Now it appears that most of Sunday will be dry but another low pressure system will give us a chance of rain from Sunday night into Monday.

At this point Halloween looks to be dry with seasonably mild temperatures.
