Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there are some light showers falling in parts of the area, temperatures are quite a bit milder than this time yesterday with readings mostly in the upper 40s to low 50s, there is a light southerly wind.

Today will be mainly cloudy, the showers this morning will be moving off the coast and most of the day will be dry, temperatures will be mild with highs in the 60s.  A cold front approaching the area tonight may touch off some light showers.

The front will move offshore overnight and a strong northwest flow of cooler air will follow for Sunday, some wind gusts of 30-35 mph is possible.  High temperatures will struggle to reach the 50 degree mark.

Most of next week will be dry and temperatures will average below normal.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures have fallen to the mid 30s in Clifton down to the chilly mid 20s inland.   Walpack is the lowest reading in the state coming in at 25 degrees, winds are mainly calm and there is some frost in parts of the area.  The 35 degree temperature here in Clifton is the coolest reading since April 21st.

A southwest flow around high pressure moving off the coast will bring milder air into the area after a chilly start, winds will become gusty this afternoon, highs should reach the low 60s which is near normal for this time of year.

A cold front will cross the area on Saturday giving us a chance of showers tomorrow morning, the front will be followed by a northwest flow of cooler air by evening.

Sunday will be a chilly day much like yesterday’s weather with highs only reaching to near 50 along with gusty northwest winds.

Mainly dry weather with below normal temperatures much of next week.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland, winds are a little brisk out of the west.

High pressure building into the area will give us a quite cool day with high temperatures only reaching around 50, the normal high for today is 63 degrees.  Skies will be sunny with diminishing winds by this afternoon.

Light winds and clear skies tonight will likely cause frost in many parts of the area, a frost advisory has been issued for tonight and a freeze warning for northwest New Jersey.

Not as chilly on Friday as high pressure moves offshore and a southwest flow of milder air moves into the area.

A cold front may cause some showers on Saturday.

Dry weather with mainly below normal temperatures Sunday through Wednesday.

Good morning everyone!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s in Clifton down to some low 30s further inland, Walpack  is down to 32 degrees, winds are light.

A cold front is expected to come through dry today, temperatures will rise to the low 60s ahead of the front, brisk southwest winds will becoming northwest after the frontal passage which will bring down some of the coolest air of the season.   Temperatures overnight will fall into the 30s but with higher winds and low humidity no frost is expected here but in northwest New Jersey and the Poconos temperatures may fall below freezing and a freeze watches and warnings have been issued for those areas.

Thursday will be a dry but very chilly day with highs only reaching the 50 degree mark.

Milder on Friday and Saturday with a chance of showers on Saturday as another cold front moves through our area.

Dry and chilly Sunday and Monday with below normal temperatures.   Temperatures will recover to near normal on Tuesday.

A cold front crossed the area overnight and showers have moved offshore, today will be a sunny day with diminishing winds, temperatures will be cool with highs around 60.

Tomorrow we will have increasing cloudiness as another front moves through the area with only a slight chance of a shower.

Thursday will be a very chilly day with highs only reaching to near 50 and morning lows in the 30s, no frost is expected due to gusty winds.

A little milder on Friday and Saturday but we will have some showers on Saturday as still another cold front moves through the area.

Dry and chilly Sunday and Monday as high pressure builds in from Canada.
