Sunny and pleasantly warm today! Warmer and more humid on Wednesday with possible showers at night! Nice weather for the holiday weekend!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and  it is cooler than this time yesterday with temperatures ranging from the mid 60s in the Clifton area to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light and the humidity is low.

High pressure will be in control of our weather today giving us plenty of sunshine with pleasantly warm temperatures and comfortable humidity.

Humidity will increase on Wednesday along with warmer temperatures that could approach 90 degrees in some areas ahead of a cold front, this front will give us a chance of showers at night that may persist into Thursday morning.

A comfortable air mass will move into the area later on Thursday and be with us through the holiday weekend giving us plenty of sunshine each day, temperatures will be seasonable or even a little below normal and the humidity will be low.

It still appears that a warming trend will be with us after the holiday weekend with warm to hot conditions most of next week.

Today we should see plenty of sunshine with hot temperatures but becoming gradually less humid as a weak cold front moves through the area.

Not quite as warm on Tuesday with comfortable humidity as a weak high pressure will control our weather.

Very warm again on Wednesday ahead of a stronger cold front that may touch off some showers late Wednesday into early Thursday morning.

A very pleasant airmass will be with us on Thursday and last through the Labor Day weekend with temperatures at or even slightly below normal along with comfortable humidity.

Warming trend again likely next week!

Another warm and dry day today! Mainly dry week coming up, quite warm tomorrow through Wednesday, cooler and less humid Thursday into the beginning of the Labor Day weekend!

Today will be a pleasantly warm late summer day with plenty of sunshine and quite warm temperatures as high pressure dominates our weather.

Tomorrow will be a hot day ahead of a weak cold front that will cross the area in the afternoon.

Not quite as warm on Tuesday but temperatures will still be above normal, skies will be mostly clear.

Another hot day on Wednesday ahead of a stronger cold front that may touch off a shower at night.

Much cooler and less humid Thursday through the beginning of the Labor Day weekend.

Looking further ahead it appears there will be a warming trend towards the end of the holiday weekend with much above normal temperatures next week.

Warm and dry for the last weekend in August! Quite warm most of next week with little or no rainfall!


We have clear skies early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from around 70 in the Clifton area to near 60 further inland, winds are light.

Very pleasant and warm weather this weekend for our area with plenty of sunshine both days, temperatures will reach around 90 degrees today and be slightly lower on Sunday with a more of an onshore wind, humidity will be moderate with dew points mainly in the 60s.

Dry weather with above normal temperatures and moderate humidity will continue into next week as high pressure will be in control of our weather.

A cold front will cross the area late in the day Wednesday followed by cooler and drier air for the end of the week.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are warm again with readings ranging from the mid 70s here in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, there are a couple of light scattered showers in parts of the area.

Today we will only have a slight chance of a shower this morning then we should see plenty of sunshine and it will be hot with readings in the low 90s, it will became a little less humid this afternoon.

We should have a very nice weather weekend with plenty of sunshine, it will be quite warm but the humidity will not be as high as today.

Very warm weather and mainly dry through at least the middle of next week.  It now appears that more seasonable temperatures will occur by late in the week.

TROPICS:   The strong Atlantic ocean wave (99L)  is not expected to develop for at least the next several days, however Florida is still expected to have periods of heavy rain and some gusty winds, this disturbance is then expected to move into the warm Gulf of Mexico waters and there may develop to a stronger storm.
