High pressure over our area will give us a partly sunny day, we will still have some widespread haze and smoke from the Canadian wildfires. Temperatures will be warm but the humidity will still be low with dew points in the upper 50s to low 60s.

A weak cold front will come through dry tonight, then high pressure over New England will give us an onshore flow of cooler air. We should stay dry with much less smoky skies Wednesday through Friday.

Dry weather for the weekend and it should be warmer and a little more humid especially on Sunday.

Quite warm weather for much of next week is likely!

High pressure over the area will give us another dry day with low humidity with dew points mainly in the 50s. Some smoke from the Canadian wildfires should cause hazy skies by this afternoon.

The high pressure will continue to give us dry and warm conditions on Tuesday and not as hazy as today.

The high pressure will move off the New England coast which will give us a more of an onshore wind Wednesday through the start of the weekend. We should stay dry with somewhat lower temperatures.

High pressure moving into our area from the mid-west will give us another sunny day, temperatures will be a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday but the humidity will stay low.

Dry weather should persist Monday through at least the beginning of next weekend. We will be quite warm Monday and Tuesday but cooler the rest of the week as high pressure moves off the New England coast and we will have more of an onshore wind. Humidity levels will be low to moderate through this period.

CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR JULY 2025

The average temperature was 80.0 degrees which was the second warmest July since my records began in 1973. Only 2020 was slightly warmer. The highest temperature was 100 on the 29th, the lowest was 62 on the 5th. Precipitation was near normal with 4.10″.
