We have mostly cloudy skies early this morning and most temperatures are in the low 30s, winds are from the west 5-10 mph. There may be some icy spot on untreated sidewalks and roads but nothing like the ice we had yesterday morning which caused many accidents and falls, still be careful if you have to go out this morning.

Today we will have partly sunny skies and it will be breezy, highs will reach near the 40 degree mark.

Dry and seasonably cold weather will continue on Tuesday.

A weak storm will be moving just to our south on Wednesday which will give us a likelihood of some light snow from around midday into the evening, at this time accumulations should be minor with 2-3 inches possible, the models are not in agreement with the European indicating more snow and the American model having little or no accumulations, so stay tuned for further updates.

Dry and seasonably cold weather is expected Thursday though the weekend.

No frigid air is indicated by the long range models through the end of the month.

It has becoming cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 20s in the Clifton area to the upper teens further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Rain is falling now in Southern New Jersey and this precipitation will move into Northern New Jersey later this morning, the ground is cold so some of the rain may freeze on some untreated surfaces this morning before the temperatures rise by this afternoon.  The rain will become moderate to heavy at times this afternoon and this evening with about an inch and half of rainfall expected, good day to stay home and watch some football.

Monday will be windy with near seasonable temperatures and partly sunny skies.

Continued dry with less wind and mostly sunny conditions on Tuesday.

A weak low pressure will give us a chance of snow beginning before daybreak on Wednesday, at this time there is a possibility of an inch or two of the white stuff.

Dry weather Thursday through Saturday with slightly below normal temperatures.

It is a very cold early this morning with temperatures ranging from around 12 degrees in the Clifton area to some single digits further inland, skies are clear and winds are light.

Today will be mostly clear with light winds, temperatures will be quite cold with highs only reaching the upper 20s.

Increasing clouds tonight and the temperatures will not be as cold as this morning with lows 10-15 degrees warmer than this morning.

Sunday rain will develop by late morning and continue into the evening, some inland spots may briefly start off as freezing rain, temperatures will rise into the 40s.

Sunshine returns on Monday with temperatures a little above normal but it will be windy.

Tuesday starts off mostly sunny but a weak clipper storm system will be approaching the area which may give us some light snow Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Dry weather for Thursday and Friday with seasonable temperatures.

Skies are mostly clear at daybreak this morning and temperatures range from the upper 20s in the Clifton area to the low 20s further inland, winds are from the southwest averaging around 5 mph.

A strong Arctic cold front will be pushing through the area around noon, temperatures will reach near 40 degrees late this morning but after the front it will get much colder with readings falling to the 20s by sunset and the teens by midnight tonight.  Winds will pick up out of northwest with gusts to 30 mph.  Little moisture will accompany the front so the only chance of some snow showers are for areas well inland.

Saturday will be frigid with lows Saturday morning falling to near 10 degrees and highs on Saturday staying in the 20s.

Milder on Sunday but also rain is likely in the afternoon and night that may change to snow before ending late Sunday night.

Dry and seasonably cold weather Monday and Tuesday.

A weak storm will give us a chance of rain or snow on Wednesday.

It is mostly cloudy early this morning, temperatures are about ten degrees milder than this time yesterday with readings ranging for the low 20s in the Clifton area to the upper teens further inland, winds are light.

Today we should see mostly sunny skies, highs will be near normal reaching the mid 30s.

On Friday a cold front will be pushing through around midday, the front will come through dry but northwest winds will pick up, highs will be near normal during the day but become colder by Saturday morning.

Saturday will be a mostly sunny but cold day.

Quite a bit milder on Sunday but rain should move into the area by the afternoon as a coastal low pressure develops, the rain may change to snow before ending Monday morning, inland area may see a couple inches of snow from this system.

Sunshine returns on Tuesday with near normal temperatures.

A weak system may give us some light snow showers on Wednesday.

A more significant storm may affect our area towards the end of next week.
