Much cooler and windy Sunday! Frost and freeze likely inland tonight!


Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and temperatures are near 50 degrees in the Clifton area and in the low 40s further inland, winds have become gusty out of the northwest.

Today will be much cooler than the last few days as a Canadian air mass moves into the area, temperatures will not rise much only reaching the mid 50s and with winds gusting to 30 mph it will feel that much cooler.

Tonight frost and freeze conditions are likely just north and west of the Clifton area as temperatures fall to the 30s, with some 20s well inland, winds will diminish.

After a chilly start Monday will be less windy and a couple of degrees higher than today along with partly sunny skies.

A period of wet weather from Tuesday to possibly Friday, at this time it appears that we will only have light rain and drizzle, daytime highs will be below normal.

Improving weather by the weekend with milder temperatures.

Latest indications are that next week will have above normal temperatures.

Mild start to the weekend, much cooler and windy on Sunday!


We have mostly clear skies early this morning with most temperatures are in the low 50s, winds are light.

Today we will have partly sunny skies and it will be continued mild although a couple of degrees lower than yesterday.  A cold front will come through late in the day that may be accompanied by a sprinkle but most areas will remain dry, winds will pick up by this afternoon.

Much cooler on Sunday with highs only reaching the mid 50s and with winds gusting to 30 mph will make it feel much colder.

Some frost early Monday as temperatures dip into the 30s.  During the day Monday temperatures will be not as cool as on Sunday with much less wind and continued dry conditions.

Rain chances increase for the mid-week period with seasonably cool temperatures.

TROPICAL – Hurricane Gonzalo is slowly weakening as it moves away from Bermuda, the eye of Gonzalo moved right over the island causing considerable damage.

Mild and dry weather today and Saturday! Much cooler and windy on Sunday!


We have mostly cloudy skies early this morning and temperatures are still well above normal with readings in the upper 50s in the Clifton area to the low 50s inland, winds are light and the humidity is lower than the last couple of days.

Today will be a very pleasant and mild fall day with temperatures similar to what we had yesterday but with lower humidity.

A cold front will come through the area on Saturday but it will only be a slight chance of a shower in the early morning, most of the day will be mostly sunny and mild.

Much cooler on Sunday and it will be windy also, temperatures will only rise to the mid 50s.

Widespread frost is likely Sunday night into Monday morning as low temperatures fall into the 30s.

Dry weather with seasonable temperatures on Monday with less wind.

The mid and late week weather looks chilly and raw with a good chance of rain as a  slow moving low pressure area affects our region.

OUTLOOK – Advisories will likely be continued through Sunday night, drop below advisory levels Monday and most of Tuesday with advisories again possible by Tuesday night.

 

TROPICS:   Hurricane Gonzalo with top winds of 130 mph is about 200 miles south-southwest of Bermuda and hurricane conditions will reach the island by this afternoon.

Partial clearing and mild after this morning’s rain!


Moderate to heavy rain is falling at daybreak this morning and it is very warm and humid for this time of year with most temperatures in the upper 60s.

The rain should end by noon and we will have some sunshine this afternoon, temperatures will continue to be above normal with highs in the 70s, humidity levels will be lower.

Pleasantly mild fall weather Friday and Saturday with plenty of sunshine.

A cold front will cross the area later Saturday and we will have much cooler air on Sunday with highs on Sunday not getting out of the 50s despite plenty of sunshine, it also will be quite breezy.

Cool weather will continue next week, there is some indications that a weak coastal low may develop and affect our area Tuesday and Wednesday but at this time we will not include any precipitation in the forecast.

TROPICAL – Hurricane Gonzalo has top winds of 140 mph and is expected to be near Bermuda on Friday.

Humid with rain developing late today and continuing heavy at times into Thursday!


We have mostly cloudy skies and very warm and humid conditions at daybreak this morning, temperatures have only fallen to the upper 60s which is the normal low for the middle of July, there is a light south to southeast wind.

Today will be mainly cloudy, warm and humid with rain developing mainly after 3pm although we may have a brief shower anytime during the day.

Heavy rain with possible thunderstorms tonight into Thursday with 1-2 inches of rain expected with higher amounts possible, temperatures will continue to be well above normal for this time of year.

The rain will end by Thursday evening and Friday will be mostly sunny with mild temperatures but less humid.

The weekend will be dry, Saturday will be mild but much cooler air will arrive Saturday night into Sunday.

Dry with rather cool conditions into the middle of next week.

OUTLOOK – Advisories will likely be continued through the weekend for high seas as swells from Hurricane Gonzalo affects the coastal areas.

 

TROPICAL – Hurricane Gonzalo is now a major hurricane with 125 mph winds, the storm is expected to affect Bermuda by this weekend!
