Sunny and breezy Thursday! Rain likely by Friday evening!


Skies are clear at daybreak this morning and temperatures range from near 50 in the Clifton area to around 40 in the normally cooler areas inland, winds are light.

Today will be a carbon copy of Wednesday’s weather with plenty of sunshine and a brisk wind, high temperatures will however be about five degrees lower topping off around the 70 degree mark.

Friday will have increasing cloudiness during the day with a chance of rain developing in the afternoon, rain likely Friday night into Saturday morning, temperatures will be somewhat cooler.

Clearing and cool weather Saturday afternoon.

Sunday will start off dry but we can expect increasing cloudiness in the afternoon with a chance of showers at night, temperatures will continue to be cool.

A chance of showers will continue on Monday with slightly milder temperatures.

Warmer on Tuesday as a warm front moves north of the area, still we will have a chance of showers.

A cold front approaching from the west will continue the chance of showers with seasonably mild temperatures.

At daybreak this morning we have partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures ranging from near 60 in the Clifton area to the mid 50s inland, winds are light.

We may be able to see between the clouds the lunar eclipse before the moon sets at 7:05 this morning.

Overnight we received around .30″ of rain from some showers falling before 2am, there was even a loud clasp of thunder that woke up everyone in our house at around 1:20am.

Today we will have clearing skies and it will be a mostly sunny day with rather mild temperatures reaching the mid and some upper 70s in the area, winds will become gusty from the west.

Thursday will remain dry but with cooler temperatures.

A frontal system to our south will give us a chance of some light rain late in the day on Friday into Saturday morning, temperatures will be seasonably cool.

High pressure will build in on Sunday with dry weather and continued seasonably cool temperatures.

Chance of showers on Monday and Tuesday, temperatures will be seasonable on Monday then warm up to above normal readings on Tuesday.

Mild weather today and on Wednesday with some sprinkles possible this morning, heavier showers and thunderstorms overnight!


Skies are cloudy early this morning and temperatures are about 20 degrees higher than this time yesterday with readings in the low 60s in the Clifton area to some upper 50s inland, there are some light showers in Eastern Pennsylvania and the western parts of New Jersey.

Some light showers or sprinkles are possible this morning but most of the day will be dry with mild temperatures reaching the mid 70s on southerly winds.

Tonight we will have showers developing along with possible heavy thunderstorms, the best chance of a heavy thunderstorm will be just before daybreak on Wednesday.

Clearing on Wednesday, it will still be mild but less humid along with plenty of sunshine.

Dry and cooler on Thursday.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of mainly light rain Friday and Saturday.  Temperatures will be seasonably cool.

Fair weather returns on Sunday, temperatures will continue to be seasonably cool.

Another chance of light rain on Monday.

Another chilly early morning with temperatures ranging from 40 degrees in the Clifton area to the 30s inland with some frost in the coldest valleys, skies are clear and the winds are light.

Much milder during this afternoon as high pressure moves offshore and a southerly flow develops with highs near 70.

A disturbance will give us a chance of light rain during the day on Tuesday with rain likely at night, temperatures will be mild.

Dry and mild on Wednesday.

Pleasant day on Thursday with cooler temperatures.

Another disturbance will give us a chance of mainly light rain Friday into parts of Saturday, temperatures will be seasonably cool.

Dry weather returns for Sunday as high pressure builds in, temperatures will continue to be seasonably cool.

It is partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures in Clifton have dropped to the lowest of the season, 41 degrees with the mid 30s being recorded further inland, winds are light.

Despite mostly sunny skies temperatures will only rise to the low 60s today.

Some patchy frost tonight over inland areas.

Milder on Monday with highs about 10 degrees warmer than today.

A weak frontal system will be moving into the area on Tuesday with some showers in the afternoon and evening.

Dry weather Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures slightly above normal on Wednesday dropping off to near normal on Thursday.

Another frontal system will give us a good chance of rain Friday into the start of the weekend, temperatures will continue to be near normal.
