With mainly cloudy skies and light winds temperatures are ranging from the low 30s in the Clifton area to the 20s further inland which is about 10 degrees warmer than this time yesterday.
Today will feature plenty of clouds but we should reach the upper 40s which is around normal for this time of year.
Most of this week we will see slightly above normal temperatures despite having mostly cloudy skies.
Most areas will stay dry with the best chance of showers will be on Friday.

Temperatures this morning under clear skies and light winds range from near 20 degrees in the Clifton area to the teens further inland with even some single digit readings in some of the colder areas of northwest New Jersey and the Poconos..
Today we will have an increase in the cloud cover and temperatures will continue well below normal.
Not as cold tonight as the last couple of nights with mainly cloudy skies.
Sunday there is a slight chance of morning drizzle, otherwise it will be mainly cloudy and high temperatures closer to normal reaching the 40s.
Rather quiet weather next week with the only chance of precipitation will be on Tuesday as a weak coastal low pressure area moves well out to sea..
Temperatures that will be near normal to begin the week will rise to above normal by Thursday and Friday with highs in the 50s..

Skies at daybreak this Thanksgiving morning are partly cloudy, temperatures have fallen to the upper 20s in most of the area and with strong winds gusting past 30mph makes it feel even colder.
Mainly sunny skies during the day today with winds slowly diminishing, highs will only reach the low-mid 30s which is about 15 degrees below normal for this time of year.
Friday and Saturday will still be chilly and dry but with much less wind than today.
There is a low chance of some very light snow late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
Milder Sunday into Monday as temperatures will be near normal.
A possible weaker coastal low may affect our region on Monday night into Tuesday giving us a chance of rain or snow.

Temperatures have spiked up to near the 60 degree mark this morning as a warm front moved to our west which is attached to the storm which is near the Trenton area this morning. Over 2.5 inches of rain has fallen so far.
The storm will move through and move up to New England this afternoon, the heaviest rain will taper off this morning and end this evening as some snow showers. Much colder air will move into the area by this afternoon, high temperatures are occurring now and will fall to the 40s by noon and 30s by sunset.
Thanksgiving Day will be cold and windy but will be dry.
Less wind but still chilly on Friday and Saturday along with a moderating trend starting on Sunday, there may be some light showers on Sunday.
Another coastal storm may affect our area on Monday night into Tuesday but at this time any precipitation will fall as rain.
