Great weather today for an Easter egg hunt!


This morning is starting off cool with daybreak temperatures in the mid 30s but with plenty of sunshine and light winds today we will probably have the nicest weather since last fall with temperatures approaching 60.
On Easter we will have morning sunshine giving way to cloudy skies by the afternoon with rain mainly falling between 4-10PM.
Another nice day on Monday for the Yankee’s(again won’t mention the Mets) opening day with mild temperatures although there may be a shower towards evening.
Much cooler and breezy despite plenty of sunshine on Tuesday and Wednesday
Moderating temperatures and it should remain dry the rest of next week.
Looking even further ahead the models are showing a substantial warmup starting next weekend extending to at least through the middle of April with some daytime highs in the 70s possible.

Tonight – Mostly clear, low in the upper 30s.
Easter – Morning sunshine becoming cloudy in the afternoon with rain most likely between 4-10PM, high in the mid 50s.
Monday – Partly sunny, chance of a shower toward evening, high near 60.
Tuesday – Mostly sunny and much cooler, highs in the upper 40s.
Wednesday – Mostly sunny, cool and breezy, high in the upper 40s.
Thursday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.
Friday – Mostly cloudy, high in the mid 50s.

Outlook – Near small craft advisory levels Sunday afternoon and again Monday evening through Wednesday!

Good start to the holiday weekend but rain likely later on Easter!


Just like the last couple of days we will start off clear but cumulus clouds will pop up again this afternoon with a very slight chance of another sprinkle, temperatures will be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday topping off in the mid 50s.
Saturday will be dry and mild and the dry weather will continue into Easter morning but rain will arrive late in the day and continue into Sunday evening.
Monday will be mild for opening day for the Yankees and Mets (does anyone really care about the Mets?), but there will be a chance of a shower later in the day.
Much cooler on Tuesday but temperatures will rebound later next week and become mild again, yes bring on Spring!

Rather pleasant weather into the holiday weekend!


Just before noon clouds have moved in and temperatures are in the upper 40s.
More sunshine on Friday and Saturday with seasonably mild temperatures in the mid 50s.
For Easter Sunday it appears that the rain may come in a little earlier as we may have showers arriving in the afternoon, however the morning we should have some sunshine.
Showers will continue into Monday morning then clearing later in the day with mild temperatures.
Cooler on Tuesday and Wednesday with mainly dry conditions………

Rather pleasant weather to continue!


This morning we have mostly clear skies with temperatures in the low 30s which is actually not much cooler than South Florida with a record low reading of 48 degrees in Miami and only 39 degrees in Rotonda.
Our weather today will be similar to yesterday with some sunshine but some puffy clouds may give us a sprinkle or even a brief flurry inland, but most of the time it will be dry and pleasant.
On Thursday we will have a little more cloudiness with again a slight chance of a sprinkle.
Mostly sunny with temperatures rising to near normal Friday through Easter Sunday.
A cold front may give us showers Sunday night into Monday morning with mild temperatures.
Clearing and a little cooler next Tuesday.
