Hot and dry Thursday!

A cold front will cross the area today but it won’t give us much relief as temperatures will still stay high but the humidity will come down a couple of notches..

So today look for sunny skies and a bit less humid by the afternoon, highs in the low-mid 90s

Tonight will be clear and not as warm as last night with lows in the mid-upper 60s.

Friday, sunny with highs again in the low-mid 90s, becoming more humid at night.

Saturday will be extremely hot and humid with a slight chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms, highs near 100.

Sunday not as hot as a stronger cold front will move through on Saturday night, highs around 90 with lower humidity.

Finally some longer lasting relief from this intense heat, not much if any rain in the forecast with highs in the 80s.

Long range indications that heat may return again after the 14th..

Marine Forecast: Northwest wind 5-10 knots, seas around 2 feet.. Quiet on the ocean waters through next week..
