Mild Friday after a frosty start!


Temperatures this morning ranged from near 30 in Clifton to the upper teens over parts of Sussex county, today with plenty of sunshine temperatures will rise quickly after sunrise an hit close to 50 degrees by early this afternoon. Saturday we will have increasing clouds it will be a couple of degrees cooler than today. Precipitation chances increase on Sunday but it looks to be just plain rain although it may start as snow or sleet well inland. Rain should continue into Monday. The coastal storm that we have been watching now may be far enough to our east to be any big problem in our area, still a couple of days to watch this storm..

Tonight – Clear, low in the low 30s.
Saturday – Increasing cloudiness, high in the mid 40s.
Sunday – Rain, possibly starting as snow or sleet well inland, high in the upper 40s.
Monday – A chance of rain, high in the upper 40s.
Tuesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the mid 40s.
Wednesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain – high in the low 40s.
Thursday – Partly sunny, high in the low to mid 40s.

Marine Forecast: Today – West wind to 12 knots, seas 2 feet.
Outlook – Below advisory level conditions through Sunday, possible advisories needed for the early and mid part of next week.
