Today may be the nicest day of the upcoming week as we will have plenty of sunshine, light winds and temperatures in the mid-upper 40s.
Increasing cloudiness on Tuesday ahead of a strong storm system, rain will develop Tuesday evening and may becoming heavy at times with strong winds into Wednesday morning, the only spots that the precipitation may be frozen is well inland at the higher elevations of Sussex County, the Poconos and upstate New York.
The rain will taper off to showers by Wednesday afternoon and it should be mild with highs approaching 50.
On Thursday an upper level low will give us clouds skies with a few showers.
Still a lot of clouds for Friday but it should remain dry.
More sunshine on the weekend but temperatures will be cooler than normal for the first weekend of March.

Friday – Mostly cloudy, high in the mid 40s.
Saturday – Mostly sunny, cool with highs only in the low 40s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny and remaining cool with highs again only in the lower 40s.
Marine forecast: Today – North winds gusting to 25 knots seas up to 4 feet, diminishing during the afternoon and night.
Outlook – Small craft advisories and possibly gale warns for Tuesday night into Wednesday.
