Spring has sprung but it will not feel like it!


Spring arrived at 7:02AM this morning but don’t expect any springlike weather for the next several days.
Today will be cool and breezy despite plenty of sunshine.
Tomorrow will even be cooler with even a chance of snow showers in the early morning that may give us a coating of snow especially to our south and east.
Friday through Sunday will be dry and a little milder but still temperatures will be below normal for this time of year.
And still another storm may affect our area on Monday with a chance of rain or snow, yes snow!
Looking ahead it appears that mainly below normal temperatures will continue into early April.
Yes the groundhog was wrong!

The forecast: Today mostly sunny and breezy, high in the mid 40s.
Tonight – Increasing cloudiness with a chance of snow showers toward morning, low in the upper 20s.
Thursday – Mostly cloudy and cold with a chance of morning snow showers, high only in the upper 30s.
Friday – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s.
Saturday – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.
Monday – Cloudy with a chance of rain or snow, high in the low 40s.
Tuesday – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

Marine Forecast: Small craft advisory till 6pm today – West winds gusting to 30 knots, seas up to 5 feet.
Outlook – Small craft advisory may be needed on Thursday; Condition lowering to below advisory levels Friday through the weekend but may be needed again for a potential coastal storm on Monday!
