Slow clearing with milder temperatures after a chilly and damp Monday!


Some drizzle was falling before daybreak with temperatures around the 50 degree mark.
During the day today high pressure will build into our area from the northeast permitting drier air to move in and we should see some sunshine by this afternoon, temperatures will reach the mid 60s nearly 10 degrees higher than yesterday.
A nice stretch of dry weather with seasonably mild temperatures from Wednesday through the weekend with high temperatures approaching 70 degrees each day but coastal areas will be cooler due to a persistent onshore wind.

The forecast: Today – Some early drizzle then slow clearing, highs in the mid 60s.
Tonight – Mostly clear, low in the low 40s.
Wednesday – Sunny, high in the upper 60s.
Thursday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.
Friday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.
Saturday – Mostly sunny, high near 70.
Sunday – Mostly sunny, high again near 70.
Monday – Partly sunny, high near 70.

Marine forecast: Today – East wind around 13 knots, seas 3 feet.
Outlook – Winds below advisory levels through the weekend but seas may approach advisory levels due to a continued onshore flow..
