Humid weather with some showers and thunderstorms the next several days!


Another warm and humid overnight period with daybreak temperatures in the low 70s. Last night’s heavy rain has moved north into New York State and we should have a dry morning with some breaks of sunshine. More showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening and once again some of these storms may produce very heavy rain and strong gusty winds, a flood watch remains in effect into this evening.
Although there is a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms this weekend I would not cancel any outdoor plans yet, Saturday looks to be the best chance to remain dry, high temperatures will mostly be in the 80s.
Cut and paste weather into next week with chances of showers and thunderstorms each day through the 4th of July with best likely hood of rain being on Monday, it will remain humid through the period with high temperatures mostly in the 80s.

Saturday – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.
Sunday – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, high in the low 80s.
Monday – Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, high in the low 80s.
Tuesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low-mid 80s.
Wednesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.
July 4th – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s

Marine Forecast: Small craft advisory issued through Saturday afternoon! Today – Southwest winds gusting to 20 knots, seas up to 6 feet.
Outlook – Small craft advisories likely will be continued Sunday through the middle of next week for high seas.
