July starting out where June left off, humid with showers and thunderstorms around!

Another warm and humid morning with cloudy skies, overnight temperatures only fell to the low 70s.
We have been missing almost all of the rain this past weekend in the Clifton area but portions of the area especially Eastern Pennsylvania, Northwest New Jersey and the Hudson Valley did have very heavy rainfall, and this morning is no exception as heavy rain is occurring at 6:30am in those same areas.
Today will feature cloudy and humid conditions with showers and thunderstorms likely, heaviest just to our west.
It will remain cloudy on Tuesday but rain chances will diminish somewhat.
As we move through the rest of the week there will be more sunshine with rising temperatures, it will remain humid with mainly just scattered afternoon and evening showers.
At this time next weekend looks to be hot and dry with those conditions continuing into early next week.

Have a good day!
