Good weather today but showers likely on Sunday!


Clear skies at daybreak this morning, overnight lows were in the low 60s in the Clifton area with again some 50s in the normally cooler spots inland.
Plenty of sunshine today will give us a nice summer day, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs in the mid 80s.
A cold front approaching on Sunday will cause an increase in clouds and humidity, showers and thunderstorms are likely with some heavy rain possible in these storms.
The cold front will cross the area Monday morning with showers ending in the morning followed by clearing and less humid air.
Nice and pleasant weather Tuesday and Wednesday but another front will increase the chances of showers Thursday into Friday morning.. Temperatures next week will be right around normal with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s..

Sunday – Cloudy with a showers and thunderstorms becoming likely continuing in the evening, high in the low 80s.
Monday – Chance of a morning shower then becoming mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.
Tuesday – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.
Wednesday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid-upper 80s.
Thursday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.
Friday – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

Marine forecast: Today – West-southwest wind becoming southerly around 9 knots, seas around 3 feet.
Outlook – Sub-advisory level condition through the middle of next week.
